Henry had three wives Almira, Ellen and Hulda. He died in Virgina and since no date of death is on this stone he may be buried in Virginia. He had 2 sons Almon C Isham who is buried in this cemetary next to his mother Almira Skinner and Elmer Isham born 3/4/1880 whose mother was Ellen Hiney she died 10 days after his birth.
Henry Enlisted 4/22/1861 as a private in Co I, 14th OVI: discharged 8/13/1861 and enlisted again in Aug 1862 in Co H Ohio Light artillery, discharged 6/14/1865. His periods of service being exactly that of his brother John Benjamin Isham.In 1867 he returned to West Richmondville; to New York City in 1874; ten years later he was back in W Richmondsville, then to Harrington Park NJ where he resided in 1901. In 1912 he was living at e Worcester NY, a farmer and a Methodist.
