Lyle Bobo, 39, passed away in Jacksonville, Fla. on Sunday, June 24, 2001. Mr. Bobo was a resident of the local area since 1988 and a 6 year member of First Baptist Church of Orange Park where he served as a Deacon and Minister of Single Adults. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 1983 and was a branch manager with Florida Telco Credit Union in Jacksonville. He is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Kay Bobo, sons Austin and Nathan Bobo, father and mother, Alvin and Alice Bobo( Columbus, Miss), grandmother, Ruth Bobo Cribbs ( Columbus, Miss.), 4 cousins and many loving friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2002, 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Orange Park, 1140 Kingsley Ave., Orange Park, Fla., with Dr. Allen F. Harrod and Rev. David Tarkington officiating. Friends are invited to visit from 12 until 2 PM, prior to the service. Burial will follow at JACKSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, Fla. In lieu of flowers, donations to First Baptist Church of Orange Park building fund and the American Cancer Society, 4030 Boulevard Center Dr., Jacksonville, Fla. 32207, would be appreciated.
