Born Ludlow PA 1910.Grad of Ludlow High School 1929. Attended Lock Haven Teachers College. Earned Master of Education Degree. World War II vet. Served in Luxembourg and Germany. Earned European African Middle Eastern Service Medals and Three Bronze stars. Returned to teaching after the war. Taught History, Ancient History and English. Was Principal of Junior High School in Lenoir, North Carolina. Taught in Falconer, New York. Member of the James Uber Post 489 American Legion Ludlow. Moriah Church Member. Preceded in death by his Mother and Father. Axel Nelson and Emma Carlson Nelson. Two brothers and a sister. Edmond, Melvin and Ethel. He will be sorely missed by all who loved and respected him.
