Breiana Jamison Memorial

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo (KKCO) -- The family of a little girl killed in an accident Saturday has made a memorial in her honor.

Breiana Jamison and her family were returning from a trip to get ice cream to celebrate her fifth birthday when their s-u-v was hit by a van.

Breiana was ejected and pronounced dead on the scene. A wooden cross bears Breiana's name painted in pink letters with two angels on each side. Stuffed animals, and a helmet can be found at the base of the cross.

Her mother, 22-year old Shelly Jamison remains hospitalized but she is out of ICU. She is pregnant with twins and they are all doing ok.

59-year old Edward Sakalak Jr. was driving the van, he was not injured, alcohol and drugs aren't suspected, no word yet on whether charges will be filed.
