Robert C. Stewart, 78, of 1701 13th St. SE., Puyallup, died Friday. He was the former manager of the Puget Sound Sanitorium in rural Sumner.
Born in Sterling, Ill., he came to Puyallup from Rosewell N.M. in 1937. He was a World War I Army veteran and a member of Bruce A Mercer Post 67, American Legion.
Mr. Stewart was a member of Corinthian Lodge 38, F & AM, the United Presbyterian Church in Rosewell and 40 et 8, Voiture 94.
He is survived by his aunt, Lillian M Stewart of Puyallup.
Hill Funeral Home in Puyallup is in charge.
