Ellen "Ellie" Cook Hamm, age 57, New Castle resident, passed away Sunday in her residence.
She was born March 3, 1951 in Anderson, Indiana.
She was a resident of Anderson and New Castle most of her life. She was a 1969 graduate of Walter P. Chrysler High School. She was very involved in her family's activities and loved sharing time with them. She was an active volunteer at the American Legion for over ten years.
She was the manager of the Yellow Cab Company in Muncie for over 20 years. She loved playing bingo and riding motorcycles. She was a member of the Moose Lodge.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff, whom she married March 13, 1982; one son and daughter-in-law, one daughter, one granddaughter, one brother and sister-in-law, her mother-in-law, Norma; two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. (Names omitted per FG policies).
She was preceded in death by her Father, Robert M. Cook; her Mother, Juanita Ratliff; a brother, Bobby Ratliff; and father-in-law, Bobby J. Hamm.
