Survivors include her children, Tammy (Bob) Stewart of Columbia and Mark (Maria) Browning of Lynnville; grandchildren, Jennifer (Kris) Turner of Spring Hill, Carey Angus of Culleoka, Jon (Meagan) Angus of Columbia, Aline (Ashley) Kimbrough of Prospect and Deno Bei of Pulaski; great-grandchildren, Taylor Lovett, Peyton Daily, Benjamin Angus, Aspen Klare Turner, Aiden Turner, John Robert Kimbrough and Lucy Haddock; one brother, Bobby McKennon of Mt. Pleasant and three sisters, Nita Bridges of Columbia, Nell Glass of Madison and Gail Blair of Summertown. Wilma also leaves behind special friends, Wendy Rayes and Marilyn Primm and her precious Chihuahua, Noel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil "Son" McKennon and three sisters, Dorothy Mangrum, Margaret Hanvey and Betty Pugh.
Wilma passed away on Monday evening, January 23, 2012, at Hidden Acres Nursing Home in Mt. Pleasant.
A graveside service for Mrs. Jones will be conducted Thursday at 3:00 P.M. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Rev. Joe Evans officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
