Derald A. "Mike" Coffin, age 85, died in Phoenix, AZ on September 15, 2012.
Born August 1, 1927 in Butterfield, MN he farmed the first part of his life and served in the United States Navy during WW II. In the early 1960's he moved his family to Flagstaff, AZ where he worked for the United States Postal Service until retiring in 1991. Mike was a member of Mt Calvary Lutheran Church in Flagstaff where he was an active and valuable member of the congregation for many years.
Survivors include Char Stillwell (Don), daughter, of Phoenix, AZ and Sandy Lehane (Mark), daughter, of Tucson, AZ. Other survivors are his two grandchildren, Claire Stillwell and Arthur Stillwell.
Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Molly and his son, Jeffrey.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 on Monday, September 24, 2012 at Mt Calvary Lutheran Church, 2605 N Ft. Valley Road, Flagstaff, AZ 86001. Interment will be at Flagstaff Citizens Cemetery.
