Mr. Diefenderfer who was 70 years of age was a well and favorably known resident of Mercer county and had lived in this vacinity his entire life. His death was due to heart trouble.
Surviving are the widow, one daughter Mrs. Frank Grinnell, of Fredonia and one son Frank at home. Two brothers, Eli Diefenderfer and Jeremiah Diefenderfer also survive.
Funeral services were held from the home at 2 Saturday afternoon with Rev. Yeisley of the Greenville Lutheran church and Rev. Renoll of the Fredonia Reformed church officiating. Burial was made at the St. John's cemetery, Delaware township.
