Barbara J. Knowles, 57 of Perry died September 17, 2012 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. She was born November 6, 1954 in Warsaw to the late Samuel Wesley Gill and Harriett Ann (Barber) Gill of Perry. Barb was a resident of Perry, New York her whole life. While attending High School there she fell in love with Randy Knowles. They were married for 41 wonderful years. She was always talking about how proud she was of her kids and grandkids. Barb was seldom seen without a big smile on her face. She easily made friends with anyone and everyone, all of which she considered family. She made a profound impact on everyone she came in contact with and will be greatly missed by many. Barb loved family vacations, camping, and was an avid reader. She was a very selfless person who always volunteered. Her ultimate goal was to see the joy she brought to others. She is preceded in death by a brother, John “Jack” Gill.

Barb is survived by her beloved husband, Randy L. Knowles Sr. of Perry; son Randy L. (Ruth) Knowles Jr. of Euless, Texas; daughter, Bethany A. (Thomas) McIntyre II of Perry; grandchildren, Randy L. Knowles III, Lauren Knowles, Ashley and Bryce McIntyre; a brother, James (Barbara) Gill of Elba; sister-in-law, Cheryl (Brian) Bentley of Perry; along with several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main Street Perry, New York 14530. Funeral Services will take place 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 22, 2012, at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Glenwood Cemetery, Perry.
