Ola Mae Greer died at her home at 5425 Kilpatrick Avenue. She was the widow of John Henry Greer.
She was a life-long member of the Greater St. James Baptist Church where she had been secretary of the Baptist Young People's Training Union (BYPU)and member of the Senior Mission and Pastor's Aid Society.
She retired after working for the W.C. Stripling family for 54 years, first in the family store and later as housekeeper. She also worked with the Steeplechase and Assembly Balls for 28 years.
Remembered for her sweet and humble spirit and especially the love and generosity she portrayed to all of her family...
