John Angstead, formerly of Richwoods, died at his home in Pleasant Plain last Sun.
Born in Bucks County, Penn. Feb. 16, 1814. In 1839 married Miss Aurelia Edmunds in Northampton County, Penn. Eleven years later they removed to Iowa and located in Brighton. . . . .14 children, 10 still living, together with the aged mother. Three are residents of this county: Hiram Angstead, Mrs. Alfred Eshelman and Mrs. Jasper Lynn. . . . .(Vol. 4)."
