Agie was the fourteenth child born to Jonathan Lewis and Mary Jane Turnmire.
Her first husband was Charles Manford Boster. He was severely injured in a mining accident in 1919 at LaGrange, MO. He later died on 20 Sept 1919 from his injuries, leaving Agie and 4 children, aged 3 through 10. His best friend, Jasper Newton Edmonston, married his widow.
