Charles Gary Gould, Sr. was born September 5, 1931 in Kansas City, Missouri (Jackson County), son of Wilbur Elon Gould and Alice Smith Baldwin.

Obituary, Humble Observer (Texas), August 4, 2008
Charles Gary Gould, Sr., a man after God's own heart, finished his project here on this earth and was promoted to his eternal project on Thursday, July 24, 2008. He was 76 years old.

He was born on September 5, 1931 during a deadly conflict between a Trucker's Union and non-Union members. Seventy-six years ago in Kansas City, Missouri many men died if they chose not to join the Union. His family lived next door to a Union Hall and in the middle of the night someone bombed the Hall. From birth he was afraid of loud noises and sudden falling. He was the second born of seven children to Alice and Wilbur Elon Gould.

He proudly served his country by joining the U.S. Army at 16, prior to the Korean Conflict. Just before his tour of duty was over, he married his sweetheart, Annie Faye Watson, December 28, 1951.

Charles was ordained by the Assemblies of God Ministries on April 12, 1984. Although he never pastored permanently, he ministered to any who was hungry for the Word. He shared his "master's nuggets" at the grocery store, the bank, the post office; anywhere where he had a listening ear, he would share God's plans and scriptures for their life. He added to the kingdom many more than his family can count. Charles shared his "spiritual sandwiches" on his personal site of www.mastersnuggets.org. His favorite statements were, "Do you measure yourself by what God says you are or by what people say you are? or "Be what you would, that others become". He believed Jesus said "We made a great team" when he entered into Heaven. He will be sorely missed by many.

Charles Gould leaves his legacy to his wife of 56 years, Faye; their son, J.R. and wife, Shirley; daughters, Shelayne and husband Steve, their children: daughter, Madi and son, Jake, Sharee, Shontel and husband, Andy; their daughter, Jeanie Strenge and husband Bob and their children, son, B.B., daughter, Kelly; son, Marcus, twin sons - Lucas and Randall; their daughter, Melody and husband Patrick and twin sons, Bryce and Nathan, Garrett and Trenton; and their daughter, Julie and husband, Zane; son, Joseph, (in heaven), daughter Tasha, and sons, Dallas and Donnie.

The funeral was held at Rosewood Funeral Home, Porter, Texas, Monday, July 28, 2008, at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers a card with a fond memory of Charles would be appreciated.
