Lt.John Fraser Bryan was assigned to Company L, 102nd Infantry. On or about Oct 28, 1918 in the attack of the Bois D'Ormant, he was severly wounded, captured by the Germans and died 31 Oct in a German field hospital about four miles NW of Verdun. His remains were returned to the Bronx on July 16, 1921.
