Funeral services will be in the Guardian Angel Catholic Church, where Mr. Blaes was a member, Wednesday. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Blaes, a retired farm laborer, was born Sept. 5, 1884, at Piqua, Ohio. He had moved to Oran some 68 years ago. He retired in 1950.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Lee and Mrs. Cora Wade; and several nieces and nephews.
Parish members will recite the Rosary Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home.
