Son of Samuel Savill Kent and Mary Drewe Pratt Kent.
Murdered in 1860 in the infamous Road Hill House murder mystery.
His older half-sister Constance Kent later confessed to his murder and was sentenced to death, later commuted to life in prison owing to her youth at the time and her confession. She served twenty years in a number of gaols including Millbank Prison and was released in 1885, at the age of 41.
