Professional Hockey Player. A native of Parry Sound, Ontario, Carson was the son of a famous lumber baron named D.M. Carson and the brother of hockey players, William Joseph 'Dr. Bill' Carson, and Frank Reginald 'Frosty' Carson. At 5'08, and 175lbs, Carson played the position of Defense for teams in the OHA-Jr., OHA-Sr., NHL, Can-Am, and the NHLMGNT hockey leagues, including the Woodstock Athletics from 1922 to 1923, Grimsby Peach Kings frm 1923 to 1927, Philadelphia Arrows from 1927 to 1928, Montreal Canadiens from 1928 to 1930, 1932 to 1935, New York Rangers from 1928 to 1929, Providence Reds from 1929 to 1932, and the Montreal Maroons from 1936 to 1937. Carson died in 1956 in Grimsby, Ontario. The house that the boys grew up in is now a Bed & Breakfast in Parry Sound, Ontario, simply known as 'The Carson House.'
