Elizabeth "Betty" died after a courageous battle with cancer at her residence surrounded by her family with St. Joseph's Hospice.

She was born the daughter of Wilfred "Hank" and Edith (Geist) Bourget. On June 4, 1976, she married Rodney Henning in Chippewa Falls. She was a member of Holy Ghost Church and the Red Hat Society. Betty worked in various secretarial management positions.

She enjoyed traveling coast to coast and going to Hawaii. She was also very involved with the 5th Battalion U.S. Calvary Association. She always enjoyed going to her grandchildren's activities and she made over several hundred crocheted afghans.

Betty is survived by: her husband Rod; one son, Bryan (Cindy) Nayes; three daughters, Lori (Scott) Christensen, Lynn Sanford and LeAnne (Darren) Addy; one brother, James (Patricia) Bourget; one sister, Carol (Wayne) Waldusky; and eight grandchildren, Ashley, Kayla, Daniel, Rebecca, Leah, Brittney, Amanda and Alexis.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; and two brothers, William in infancy and Robert Bourget.

Funeral services will be held May 31 at Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls. Rev. Victor Inbaraj will be celebrant of the funeral Mass.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 30 and until 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls.
