He is survived by his wife, Sharon, sons William, Patrick and Michael. Also survived by a daughter, Molly. He taught at Geneva (IL) High School for 31 years. He was on the Geneva city council from 1986 until 1996.
He graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, WI. in 1939. He graduated from the U. of Minnesota in 1943. He received his Master's Degree from Northwestern U. in 1953. He taught high school in Norton, KS, and Antigo, WI before moving to Geneva, Illinois.
