She married (1) EDGAR NORTON SHERMAN 01 Jan 1851 in Dundee, Kane Co., Illinois, son of MORRIS SHERMAN and ANNIS ROSE. He was born 18 Sep 1825 in Kingsbury, Washington Co., New York, and died 22 Nov 1874 in Amity, Yamhill Co., Oregon.

She married (2) GEORGE W GOUCHER 1878 in Amity, Yamhill Co., Oregon. He was born 26 Aug 1820 in Virginia, and died 08 Apr 1892 in Amity, Yamhill Co., Oregon. Almira, Edgar Norton Scherman, and Dr George W Goucher are buried in Amity Cemetery.

footnote: the last name Scherman was shorten/changed at some point and reads Sherman.
