Anhalt, Gregor Heinrich (also shown as John Frederich Wilhelm) (Jan. 4, 1825-March 6, 1889 –husband of Katharine Lebien [married Oct. 14, 1851 in Goerzke, Prussia] –son of John Friederike Anhalt and Dorothea Sophia Fresdorf –born Goerzke, Prussia –veteran of the Civil War, being drafted on July 1, 1863 –farmer –Gregor and Katharine had only one child –that child was Anna Marie Anhalt [1861-1927] who remained single –both Gregor and Katherine lived at 104 South Second Avenue in St. Nazianz until their deaths –with the house then going to their daughter Anna Marie) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 1, Row 8, Lot 4 –no stone –in 2019 the St. Nazianz Area Historical Society placed a marker on this grave] [death record Manitowoc 3-556]
