FLEMING -- Donald Adam Buck, 81, died March 16 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Savannah.
The Richmond County native had lived in Fleming since 1933. He was an Army veteran, having served under the command of Gen.George S. Patton in the European and Pacific theaters during World War II. He received several medals and awards. He retired from civil service at Ft. Stewart after 35 years. He was a member of Mount Olivet United Methodist Church. He was the widower of Catherine M. Fuhrmann Buck, to whom he was married for 34 years.
SURVIVORS: two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna and Paul Popour of Fleming and Sandra C. Beasley of Savannah; two brothers, Harold J. Buck of Midway and Aaron W. Buck of Savannah; a sister, Margaret B. Beasley of Fleming; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: 3 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery with full military honors.
REMEMBRANCES: Mount Olivet United Methodist Church Building Fund.
