GREEN COUNTY KENTUCKY OBITUARY – 1963
Edward Wayne Lile, 63, died Tuesday, April 16, at the Clinic Hospital in Glasgow. He was born December 30, 1899, in Green County, a son of the late Charlie Lile and Mrs. Maggie Ennis Lile. He was married to Miss Ida Oakes on December 22, 1921. He was a member of Greasy Creek Baptist Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by 4 daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Kessler, Mrs. Clydene Bagby, and Miss Ann Lile, all of Greensburg and Mrs. Edith Squires, Chicago; 2 sons, Floyd and Bill Lile, both of Greensburg; 4 sisters, Mrs. Pearl Whitlock, Mrs. Ruth Nunn and Mrs. Irene Kelly, all of Greensburg, and Mrs. Ruby Beebart, Mason City, IL; 2 brothers, Clifton Lile, Greensburg, and Clifford Lile, Indianapolis, and 9 grandchildren. The remains were at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home until time for the funeral, which was held Thursday, April 18, at Greasy Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Elvis Marcum and Rev. Eutre Hammett officiated. Pallbearers were Loyd Nunn, Lindsey Nunn, Loren Nunn, Elwood Nunn, Rex Kelly and Danny Wilcoxson.
