JOSEPHINE BAUMGARTNER

Mrs. Josphine Baumgartner, 69, of St. Nazianz, died early Sunday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she was entered as a patient Saturday afternoon after a heart attack at home.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Farley Funeral Home, Valders, and at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz, the Rev. Denis Cooney officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.Mrs. Baumgartner was born Josephine Gutman March 17, 1892, at St. Nazianz, daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Rauch Gutman. She was married to Anton Gaumgartner Nov. 6, 1910, at St. Gregory Church, St. Nazianz.
She was employed at St. Gregory School for six years and also at St. Nazianz Canning Co. She and her husband farmed in the St. Nazianz area until their retirement seven years ago. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Gregory parish.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Edmund, of Manitowoc; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. by the Christian Mothers Society and members of the parish.
