Jesse Norris, 89, peacefully fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on Monday, Sept. 24, 2012. Celebration of life: 3 p.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Jesse was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Christine "Chris" Norris, on Oct. 5, 2009; and his daughter, Darlene Duncan. Survivors: Jesse was loved and cherished by all who knew him including his daughters, Debra Richmond and Lisa Davis (Phillip); grandchildren, Shawn Mitchell, Hayley Adams (Soloman), Melissa Brannon, Jeremy Duncan and Taylor Davis; great-grandchildren, Kinsley and Jayden Mitchell and Chase and Alison Brannon; many loving family members and friends; and his devoted church family from Hallmark Baptist Church.
