Charley and Wright Phares received word that their brother, Adolph (Keggy) Phares, had passed away yesterday morning at 3 o'clock at a hospital in Kansas City, Mo. Mr. Phares had been in ill health for the past two or three years, and suffered a heart attack two weeks ago. He was 69 years old last May.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at Trenton, Missouri.
He has served as conductor on the Rock Island Railroad.

Mr. Phares was born in Centerville, and lived here until he was about 18 years old. About that time he started working on the railroad and moved to Trenton, Mo. He has served as a conductor on the Rock Island for a number of years.

In death, Mr. Phares leaves his wife, the former Ole Darneby, his brothers, Charley and Wright, two sisters, Gertie Fletcher, of California and Ivy Benge, also of California, and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing. Deepest sympathy is extendended to the family at this time.
