She was formerly employed at Harris Savings & Loan for 26 years before moving on to PSECU where she has worked for the past seven years. She was a former member of Rockville United Methodist Church and was a member of the Phillies Fan Club and the Neighborhood Bunco Group. She enjoyed many types of needle work including crocheting, knitting, sewing, and quilt-making. She also enjoyed other crafts, reading, and gardening.
Surviving is her husband, Jeffrey E. Bennett; two daughters, Jessica L. and Hanna E. Bennett; and her sister, Carey Kosco.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Malpezzi Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg with viewing held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to PAWS, P.O. Box 855, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
