Clara was the daughter of Rose Gilman. Two years after she was born Rose married Joseph Lessard. He raised Clara but she always went by the name Gilman.

On Aug 17, 1911 in Lancaster, NH she married Gilbert Raymond Savage, son of Roswell E. Savage and Anna Marshall.

Their children were Ada, Roswell Gilman, Bessie, Edna Rose, Gleigh A, Victor Randall, Gordon A, Louise, and Randall James.


Note:
The daughter Louise was only in the 1940 census which was very unreadable, so I am not sure what the name actually was. It was transcribed as Louise. The age was transcribed wrong, listed as 16yrs when it was actually 10yrs.
