Bruns, Steven, passed away peacefully after his long and courageous battle with cancer on Sept. 20, 2012, age 58 years. Beloved husband of Diane (nee Gauthier). Dear father of Evan Bruns. Brother of Virginia E. (the late Jerry) Traeder of Prescott AZ, Sandra E. Bruns of Elkhart Lake, WI, the late Marcia E. Bruns and the late Sharon E. Stempihar. Former husband of Elizabeth Fahlstrom-Bruns. Faithful companions Sophie, Norton, Bailey and Tiber. Further loved by other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation Wednesday from 4 p.m. until time of service. Private interment St. John's Cemetery, Rhine, WI.
Steve received his master degree of finance from UM-Madison. Steve loved to share his passion and knowledge of Husquvarna Swedish Firearms with the many collectors he met throughout the years. Steve also loved his hunting trips to Wyoming to hunt antelope and deer hunting with friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society appreciated.
