He was born April 11,1938 in Tulare, California to David Lee and Bonnie Mae (Fowler) Vaughn. He was married to Caroline Vest on November 2, 1973 in Denton. He is a Disabled Veteran of the U S Navy. He was a graduate of Denton High School, and a member of The Church of Corinth.
Mr. Vaughn is survived by his wife, Caroline Vaughn of Aubrey, Daughter and son-in-law Darla and Mike Martin of Corinth, sister Joyce Parris of Hurst, a brother, Buster Vaughn of Gainesville, and three grandchildren, Micah, Miles, and Mac Martin, all of Corinth.
A celebration service will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, September 15, 2015 at The Church of Corinth 3201 Tower Ridge Drive, Corinth, TX with Pastor Jeff Williams officiating, He will be laid to rest at the Shiloh Cemetery in Corinth.
Memorials May be made to Orange Out Foundation, www.orangeout.org, 12650 N Beach Street Suite 114-36, Keller, TX 76244. The Orange Out Foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps families going through childhood cancer by providing emotional, spiritual and monetary support. September marks national childhood cancer awareness month.
