Born on April 18, 1920, in Shippensburg, Pa., he was a son of the late Cecil W. and Dorothy M. Rotz Johns. He married Betty L. Pilgrim.
Wilbur was retired, having worked as painter for the former Hayes Baker Painting, and E.E. Mills & Son Painting in Chambersburg. He served in World War II with the U.S. Army. He enjoyed gun collecting, hunting, fishing, and collecting Native American arrow heads.
Aside from his wife, Betty, he is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Johns and Alvin "Ray" Johns.
Interment, with military honors, in Salem Cemetery.
