Funeral services will be held at the Westfall funeral home at 1:30 o’clock tomorrow afternoon for Mrs. Nancy Marilla Abbey, 70 years old, who died at her home on Sequoia avenue yesterday morning. Elder George Sims of the Seventh Day Adventist Church will officiate. Interment will be in the Gridley cemetery.
Mrs. Abbey was a native of Wisconsin, and moved to Chico last October from Mountain View, where she had resided for 15 years. Surviving are the widower, T.E. Abbey, and the following children: E.L. Buck of Los Angeles, C.V. Buck of Colfax, Mrs. Ruth Jefferson of Chico, W.L. Buck of Live Oak, Mrs. Ruby Johnson of Gridley and R.M. Buck of Gridley. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Leona Pickett of Turlock, Mrs. Alice Marshall of Oakdale, Mrs. Viola Qualley of Minnesota, Mrs. Nora Pickett of Minnesota, Jess Davison of Minnesota and William Davison of Wisconsin. Eighteen grandchildren also survive.
