Mr. Wheeler was a son of Andrew & Mate[sic] Murdock Wheeler
and a brother to these named siblings:
Barbara Wheeler Tucker of Benton,Texas;
and Norman Wheeler of Bally,Pennsylvania.

He was married to the former Anna Whitfield and they were the parents of these named adopted children:
Susan Wheeler Bensishek,deceased in 2011;
and Mark Andrew Wheeler of Anita,Pennsylvania.

He was a retired machinist with the National Rubber Manufacturing Company and had lived in Salem,Ohio until his retirement,when he moved to the Whitfield Farm near Anita.

He was a 32nd Degree Mason with a 65 year membership to the John M. Read F.A.M Masonic Lodge in Reynoldsville;and a life member of the McCalmont Township Volunteer Fire Department.
He & his wife were active members of the local Boy Scout & Bucktail Council community,both having earned the Silver Beaver Awards. He also had the opportunity to attend 2 Boy Scout Jamborees held in Australia & Sweden.

He passed away at Christ the King Manor in DuBois.
