Obituary: Archie W. McKechnie, 73, Greenfield, MO, passed away Saturday morning, January 13, 1996, at his home, after a long illness. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 15, at Greenfield Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Gene Burnside & Rev. Larry Wheeler officiating; interment will be at a later date. Friends may call after 12 noon Sunday, at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Missouri or the charity of the donor's choice.
Mr. McKechnie was born February 9, 1922, in Tacoma, WA. He married Niki Renninger, on June 9, 1977, in Olathe, KS. He was a member of Mt. Olive Christian Church, north of Greenfield and Arcola Lions Club, Arcola, MO. Mr. McKechnie was a WWII Marine Corps veteran and a retired program manager for Allied-Bendix, Kansas City, MO.
