Lurah was one of four children born to Lincoln Milner and Nettie Viola Starks. She died on June 12th at her home in Monte Vista and services were at Sargent Church. Lurah married Harvey Albert Mathias on 23 Dec 1903 in Monte Vista, Rio Grande, Colorado. Lurah and Harvey had a large family of 11 known children: Velma Ruth, Harvey Dwight, Donald Maurice, Mary Margaret, John Robert, Lurah E., Milner B., Maurine, baby boy Mathias, Dorotha E., and Sarajane.
