She had one sister Honsen Louise Phillips Thompson Davies
Birth 27 AUG 1907 in Castana, Monona County, Iowa
Death 24 AUG 1998 in Onawa, Monona County, Iowa
Cathryn was married to a police officer from Los Angeles. He was shot in the line of duty and lost a leg to the wound. He was given a medical retirement. His name was Charles and I think he was at based at the Rampart division. He became a real estate developer and owned lots of property in the Glendora and Azusa area. He died in about 1967. They never had any kids but she had a sister back in Iowa. She came to California around world war II and went to nursing school in LA. She worked as a nurse for many years and was at the county hospital downtown if I remember right.
She has great nieces and nephews. Her nephew Dan looked after her affairs for many years but passed away about a year before Cathryn. Dan's wife is Dorthy. Dan has a sister who lives in Bethesda Maryland and she has children and grand kids.
