Author. Was born in Mountbauer, Germany, coming to the United States as a child, and lived in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and later moved to, Chicago. He discovered what he claimed were his own "psychic" abilities early in his childhood, and, when living in Chicago, he used them to aid the local police in solving many crimes. As a young man he traveled in the West to conduct investigations into the conditions of the Indian Reservations, for President Theodore Roosevelt, walking over 1,800 miles on foot. He was the founder o the Educational Research Laboratories, in Montague, Michigan, where his goal was to "teach people how to explore and use the psychic abilities all people are born with". In 1948 he wrote "Gates of the Mind: The Proven Psychic Discoveries of Joseph Sadony".
