Mrs. Copson was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on January 4, 1921, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Hines) Bruce.
Mrs. Copson was a longtime Londonderry resident. She was the widow of William A. Copson to whom she had been married for 51 years prior to his death in 1993. She was educated in local schools and had been a housewife who enjoyed ceramics. She was predeceased by three brothers, Joseph, James, and William Bruce, two sisters, Cecilia Leavitt and Ann Gillette, and one half sister, Lena Hines.
She is survived by two sons, William J. Copson and his wife Judith Ann of Nashua, Robert J. Copson and his wife Patricia of Derry, four grandchildren, Susan St. Onge and her husband Raymond of Maine, David Copson and his wife Marie of Nashua, Matthew Copson of Nashua, Robert Copson and his fiancee Kim Reilly of Manchester, three great-grandchildren, Zachary Boucher, Courana Raye St. Onge, Carolyn Rose Copson, one sister, Frances Farley of Meriden, CT, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
