Funeral services for Charles Lucian Robinson were held at Cross Roads Christian Church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. J. B. Richardson saying the last rites. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Death claimed Mr. Robinson at his home in Vine Grove, Thursday, May 6th after two years in declining health. He was a retired farmer of Caldwell County but had resided in Vine Grove for the past several months.

Robinson was born in Caldwell County January 18, 1877 and was a member of Cross Roads church. His faith in the Lord and by his patient suffering, bore testimony to His sustaining grace. He loved his many friends and neighbors and enjoyed their conversations while visiting at his bedside. He will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Stella Hunter Robinson, Vine Grove; two sons, Lois Garland of Cobb and Sgt. Nelson Robinson of the U. S. Army, now serving in Korea; a daughter, Mrs. John Miller, of Vine Grove; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Hugh Robinson, this county, and Urey Robinson of Richmond, Virginia; one sister, Mrs. Lula Cook, this county.
