She lived in Atlantic City, where she modeled jewelry and won the Miss Atlantic City Bicycle Beauty con. She married her husband, Irving Abady after he returned from World War II. She enjoyed bowling, watching TV and her favorite pleasure, chocolate. She knew all the chocolatiers in every city which she lived and especially delighted in the home made varieties. In Richmond, she operated the Berkshire House restaurant, famous for homemade biscuits with a marmalade topping. In addition to her beauty and finesse, Mrs. Abady was the ultimate party giver, hosting many festivities and dinners at her home, which often featured a violin and piano player. She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her husband and family. Her remains rest at the Forest Lawn - 4400 Pilot's Lane, Richmond, VA. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel at Richmond Beth EL Cemetery at Forest Lawn on Sunday, April 18th, at 3:30 PM.
