Mrs. R T Pickering of the Cross Roads section died Monday from a self-inflicted wound in the head made by a shot gun according to a report from coroner Clyde Spickard.
Survivors include her husband, a daughter, two sons; one sister, Mrs. Harlie Thomas and a brother, Garrett Smiley.
Last rites were held at Cross Roads church Wednesday with burial in church cemetery.
