Ruth Helen Andres, 94, of Wolcott, died Tuesday, March 4 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Anthony Healthcare in Lafayette.
She was born to Nathan Ratliff and Mary (Keith) Ratliff on November 11, 1902 in Floyd County, Ind. She attended Floyd County schools.
On September 7, 1921 she married John Andres, deceased.
A homemaker, she moved to the Wolcott area in 1923.
She was a member of the Rosary and Alter Society.
She is preceded in death by her husband; two brothers; three sisters; one grandchild.
She is survived by one daughter, Edythe Myers of Wolcott; one brother, Forrest Keith of Rancho Cordova, Calif.; one sister, Beatrice Walker of Palmyra, Ind., four step sisters, Ellen Eickenbertger of New Albany, Ind., Catherine Shriner of New New Albany, Lucille Lewis of Palymmyra, Lela Howas of Charleston, Ind.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 6 from 4-8 p..m. at Foster Funeral home in Wolcott, Ind.
A rosary service will be held Thursday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in the Fulcher Center in Remington Friday, March 7 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Thomas Fox officiating.
Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Remington.
