Mr. Alexander was born in Columbia, N.C. on February 26, 1922, a son of the late Clement A. and Annie V. (Rowsom) Alexander.
Mr. Alexander was a resident of Derry for 19 years, formerly living in Wilmington, MA and Lynn, MA. He was a US Coast Guard WWII veteran. He was employed as an equipment operator for the Boston Gas Co. for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Wilmington, MA. Mr. Alexander enjoyed the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Alice J. (Frazier) Alexander of Derry, two daughters, Patricia A. Alexander of Boston, MA, Deborah M. Madden of Winthrop, MA, four grandchildren, one brother, James Alexander of Philadelphia, PA, three sisters, Oressa Smith, Blanche Jones, Delde Rae, all of Philadelphia, PA, several nieces and nephews.
