Fred Knutsen's headstone lies south of his wife Pauline's marker, east of the Knutsen family stone.
Looking west at the Fred and Pauline Knutsen family plot. The individual markers for Fred (lower left corner) and Pauline (lower right) lie east of the family monument in row F, near the southern edge. The opposiete side of the family monument is inscribed for their daughter Laura C Knutsen.

Fred Knutsen Rites Sunday
89-Year-Old Orum Resident Died at His Home Friday
Funeral services were held Sunday for 89-year-old Fred Knutsen, Orum, who died Thursday at his home at Orum. Mr. Knutsen was born in Denmark.
The Rev. Roy Jorgensen officiated at the services. Interment followed in Orum Cemetery.
Mr Knutsen is survived by his wife, Paulina; three daughters; Mrs. Walter Novak (Mary) of Blair; Mrs. Edgar Larsen (Elna), Herman, and Miss Laura Knudsen, Omaha; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The Bendorf Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
