McAllister Youth's Body Recovered Sunday in Menominee River
The Menominee River claimed a 16 year old boy Friday evening when Herman Dietrich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dietrich of McAllister, was drowned while fishing from a boat near his home a short way above the Wallace bridge, in the Town of Wagner. . . .
The youth is survived by his parents, four sisters and three brothers. They are Mrs. Carl Steinbecker of Menominee; Tessie Dietrich of Oak Park, IL; Rose & Dorothy Dietrich of McAllister; Harold, Albert and James of McAllister, WI
Funeral services held from the family home at 1:30 pm and at 2:00 pm from the Swedish Lutheran Church at McAllister. Interment will be made in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Art Ebbinger, Bob Caylor, Kenneth Hiatt, Edmond and Hilary Chevalier and Eddie Reitmeyer.
