Robin Ann Garcia, age 40, of Moore, died Tuesday, Oct 3, 2000. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard B. Means. Robin was born October 4, 1959 in Garland, TX to Richard B. Means and Lavonne Frances Muzny. She married Tanilo Garcia on Mar. 7, 1989 in Gunnison, CO. Robin lived every moment of every day. She loved teaching her own children and all children. All Music made her face brighter, her favorite sports were gymnastics, snow skiing and softball. Watching her children succeed in sports, piano, singing & school brought her great joy. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Moore and sharing her strong Christian faith, allowed her to touch every life she encountered. Robin is survived by her husband of the home: 4 daughters, Tiffany Thompson, Chelsea Garcia, Sydney Garcia and Jeanna Garcia. Also, her mother Lavonne Means, brother, Rick Means; sister, Rhonda Farren; 2 half-sisters Sally Moon and Bobbie Cuttell and her grandmother Marie Muzny. Visitation will be at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, Oct 5 and at the church 1 hr. before the service. Services will be Fri. October 6, 2000, at 10:00 AM, at the First Christian Church of Moore, 629 NW 12th St., with Pastor Mike Hohlier officiating. Interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Family has requested memorial donations to: Moore Christian Schools, 836 N. Eastern, Moore, OK 73160. Also, contributions to an educational fund for the children should be sent to Garcia-Thompson Education Fund in care of Republic Bank of Norman, P.O. Box 5369, Norman, OK 73070.
