David Eric Alm was alive when the 1940 Census was taken on April 8th, 1940. His age was listed as "0". He died on June 3rd, 1940. I have linked him to his parents, Reuben Anderson Alm and Marie Temple. An older brother, Major Richard Andrew Alm, died in Vietnam in 1966. I am linking him to his parents also. I've not been able to locate the final resting places for Laura Marie Alm (1925-1983) and her spouse, Frederick Paul Krippaehne (1927-2014) or Katherine Mae Alm (1925-1983). I hope this information helps you with your research, would appreciate knowing where Laura Marie and Katherine Mae are interred, with their spouses. I am not related, am just trying to link this Marine's family to him. He was also married, although I don't know the name of his spouse.

I located a burial transfer permit online at Washington Digital Archives.
According to information left there, David was two months old plus and died of hydrocephalus. He died in Morton so I don't know why there is a burial transfer permit unless he was taken care of by a different funeral home. He was buried June 4, 1940. The funeral director was D. G. Myers of Morton, Washington.
