Tobinsport, Indiana - John A. Williams, 23, of Tobinsport, died Thursday, September 25, 2008 of injuries received in a motorcycle accident near Deer Creek.
John was born in Tell City on February 1, 1985, son of James Logan Williams and Earla Jean Thorn Williams who survive. John was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John William "Bill" Thorn and his paternal grandfather, Ronald M. Williams, Sr.
John was a 2003 graduate of Perry Central High School and in 2004 received a degree in auto collision technology from the Nashville Auto/Diesel College. He had been co-owner of Tell City Muffler and was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and Clayton Harris United Methodist Church in Tobinsport. John enjoyed mud bogs, fast cars, motorcycles, diesel trucks and being with his friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 28, 2008 at Clayton Harris United Methodist Church in Tobinsport. Pastor Paul Alvey will officiate. Burial is in Lamb Cemetery, Tobinsport. Visitation is from 2:00 - 8:00 PM Saturday at Huber Funeral Home, 129 N. 6th Street, Cannelton, Indiana and 12:00 - 2:00 PM Sunday at the church in Tobinsport.
