The requiem Mass for Sister M. Lucina, 79, of the Franciscan Order, who died the past Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital in Manitowoc was offered Thursday morning in Holy Family Convent Chapel at Silver Lake. Celebrant was the Rt. Rev. Msgr. James Feider, pastor of St. Coletta Parish in Jefferson, a nephew of Sister Lucina.
In the 55th year of her profession of vows, Sister Lucina was a daughter of the late Dominic and Mary Bichler, formerly of Dacada. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters, three of whom were Catholic nuns of the Franciscan Order at Holy Family Convent. They were Sisters M. Victoria, M. Adelaide and M. Dominic.
Survivors are four other sisters, Mrs. Emma Lamb of Sheboygan Falls, Mrs. Sam (Theresa) Lang and Mrs. Peter (Lucy) Pirotte of Los Angeles and Mrs. Susan Schomer of Milwaukee. Three nieces, Sister M. Victoria, M. Gertrude and M. Katherine, are members of the Holy Family Convent community at Manitowoc. The Rev. George Feider O.Praem, of Philadelphia is a nephew.
